He is beginning to take on cult like fandom - and deservedly so.Mario Nese was named this week's Scranton Times Athlete of the Week. Nese was 3-for-3 with 4 RBI in the Devils D2 win over Northwest.
The Old Forge DH provided the spark for the victory by scoring from second on an infield single to tie the game and get the Blue Devils offense rolling.
Nese becomes the third Devil to be named AOW during the spring season, joining Kyle McMyne and JJ Thomas.
